Ornamental Peppers (also called Christmas Peppers) are annual plants with small white blooms that are excellent for growing indoors year-round. Although the fruit is edible it is not recommended for eating as some are extremely hot. Ornamental Peppers provide great color all through the growing season, can withstand high heat and require little care. Has small (less than 2" in length) tapered fruit with colors of green, cream and purple changing to red. As a houseplant they should be placed in full sun keeping the soil evenly moist.
