Pin Cushion

Native to New Zealand and South America. Also known as Nertera Depressa. Pronounced ner-Ter-ra from the Greek word "nerteros", meaning "low down." The Pin Cushion is a unique long-lasting mat-forming plant that produces a multitude of vibrantly colored small round orange berries, following star-shaped flowers. The berries will last for months leaving a mat of evergreen foliage that looks very similar to Baby's Tears. Place in bright light and do not allow soil to go completely dry. Great accent plant for indoors.
