The name "Cordyline" comes from the Greek word, Kordyle'. It is a wonderful bonsai that can decorate the interior of your home. It has long, strap-like leaves which grow from a single head. As the Cordyline ages, the trunk will thicken and it will develop multiple heads and branch in a sculptural form. It develops small, light yellow-white flowers in clusters in the spring. The Cordyline has handsome leaves and remarkably colored foliage with brilliant magentas, green and purples. Good light will enhance colors. Great for indoors.
