Extremely versitile evergreen with stiff irregular branching habit makes this an excellent choice for bonsai. Dense form with thick heavy interesting trunk. Very slow grower with deep sage green leaves. Has both scale-like and awl-like leaves. Do not shear, cut back and thin to shape. Low to moderate watering requirements. Provide full sun or light shade and little or no fertilizer.
