This cultivar was first noticed by Mr. Jimmy Sharp in the early 1980's. Not long after, he began propagating his new discovery at his nursery in Oregon. Today this specie can be found in many areas of Japan, Korea, and China. Green leaves are 2"-5" long. Leaves have 5-7 pointed serrated lobes. Fall color includes yellow, red-purple and bronze. Dense branching and interesting leaf structure make this piece appealing. Great showy piece for patio or deck. Keep outdoors.
