Trident Maple Over Rock Bonsai Tree

A traditional subject for bonsai, this Trident Maple is well known for the superb colors of its foliage in autumn. To add additional interest, the trunk is trained over and around a rock. Its textured bark which is a dappled pale brown, exfoliates with age revealing a grey, orange and brown color. The small leaves (which resist scorching during drought) have 3 short lobes close together - hence the name "Trident". Popular for bonsai because of its small leaves. Deciduous. Keep outdoors.
