Tree of a Thousand Stars. The Japonica has somewhat elongated spoon shaped, shiny green leaves. It is a twiggy tree that grows tighter with shearing. This Serissa native to northern China has small white trumpet shaped blossoms and is trained into a curved trunk with a tiered canopy. Has exposed roots which give the appearance of greater age. Great for a bright indoor location.
